How do I add custom callback CID audio?

At the end of callback registration, the system notifies the caller that they can expect to see the callback come from a phone number (the callback caller ID number — CID). By default, this audio is generated from the digits of the Callback CID field and is recited by the system. Replacing the default audio with custom audio allows you to provide a more natural interaction with your customer, and align the voice experience with your brand.

Step 1: In the sidebar navigation, select Media.
Step 2: Select the media item for adding custom CID audio.
Step 3: Click on Registration to expand the options. Scroll down until you reach Custom Callback CID Audio.
Step 4: Click on the Custom Callback CID Audio bar to reveal file upload options.
Step 5: To add a custom audio file, click Choose file to replace audio, or drag-and-drop your audio file onto the designated area.
Step 6: Scroll to the top of the Media screen and click Save Changes to save your work in progress.
Step 7: Click Publish to apply your changes to the system.

IMPORTANT: Adding the custom callback CID audio file only saves the file within the system. It does not activate the file for use. To activate the file for use:
  1. In the sidebar navigation, select Call Target, then select the call target for adding the custom CID audio.
  2. On the Call Target screen, scroll down to Dial Settings.
  3. Select the Use Custom Callback CID Audio option.
  4. Scroll up to the header and click Save Changes to save your work in progress.
  5. Click Publish to apply your changes to the system.
